Refund policy
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a refund, or credit or exchange/replace it for another product of the same value.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria.
To start a return, you can contact us at brent@formatize.co.za with your order number/reference and reason for return, as well as pictures/video. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Formatize (Pty) Ltd, 11 Link Close, Montague Gardens, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7441, South Africa.
Please note that Formatize Store does not cover the cost of return shipping, except in the case of a faulty or incorrectly supplied product. We will provide you with a shipping quote, which you must accept to return the product or we will suggest a suitable courier service, depending on your location.
DO NOT return products without a return authorization, any products returned to us without approval may be rejected and returned to you.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), Unfortunately, sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
