Brent Ismay | Founder of Formatize (Pty) Ltd and the Formatize Store

The Formatize store is the result of creating numerous successful designs for companies, small businesses and individuals since 2013. Brent Ismay, wanted to create a store where he could share and sell his own product designs. 

The goal for the Formatize Store is to mostly 3D print unique functional products, that you can't find anywhere else, for different genres such as kitchen accessories, gadgets, gardening tools etc. Formatize has designed products for all kinds of manufacturing techniques but has been 3D printing since 2014 and even won two Gapp Awards in 2024. 3D printing allows more freedom in the design process and the opportunity to sell replacement parts to keep the products alive as long as possible. 

Getting replacement parts from conventional vendors can be frustrating, time consuming and sometimes impossible when the product is discontinued. This is due to overseas production and importing but it is not the case the with the Formatize Store. All the 3D printing is done in Cape Town South Africa. The replacement parts will be printed on request when the buyer needs it in a matter of days. 

The Formatize Store is still in it's infancy but Brent Ismay is excited to grow it's catalogue and offer buyers a unique product experience with interesting designs.
